Description

These information sessions are held at the Penn State York county Extension office and will explain the Master Gardener program. Applications will be available and interested persons will also have the opportunity to complete the pre-test.

Master Gardeners are volunteers for Penn State Extension who are tasked with getting research-based information to the gardening public. To become a certified Master Gardener you must complete all classes, a pre and post test, and 50 hours of volunteer time.

The 2018 York County classes leading to Master Gardener certification begin August 15 from 6p.m. to 9 pm and are held weekly through December 12. Classes are held every other year.
