About the In-Person Workshop

Join Penn State Extension for an opportunity to repair a stream while learning at the Volunteer Live Stake Planting event. Participants will live stake a stretch of the Conodoguinet Creek, a local waterway in need of stream bank stabilization. Live staking is a low-cost, easy method of adding fast-growing plants to the banks, helping to create more stable soils and improve the health of the creek. This hands-on event offers both environmental impact and learning opportunities.
