Our Extension programs address a wide range of topics for livestock, public health, and animal well-being.
Our research interests, and current grant portfolio, include mastitis and milk quality, antimicrobial use in livestock operations, and antimicrobial resistance.
Our field investigation activities help producers, veterinarians, and other professionals troubleshoot perplexing, costly, and uncommon problems that occur on farms in Pennsylvania, in conjunction with the Animal Diagnostic Laboratory.
Our teaching responsibilities include conducting lectures and laboratory sessions for undergraduate students at Penn State University Park, as well as advising and mentoring students in the Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences major.
