About The In-Person Workshop

Join us at Alecraft Brewery for Tap Talks: Why Care About Trees? Spend an engaging evening with Vincent Cotrone, Penn State Extension educator in urban forestry, as he explores the many ways trees benefit our communities through valuable ecosystem services. Learn about the social, economic, and environmental impacts of urban and community forests while enjoying locally brewed beverages in a relaxed setting. Test your knowledge during an environmental trivia game and compete for prizes and swag in a fun, interactive atmosphere.

This session is part of Tap Talks—a fun and informative series that highlights water quality and watershed-related topics through dynamic presentations by local water resource professionals and Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards. Tap Talks are held at various venues across Pennsylvania and typically run for about an hour, though exact timing may vary.

Penn State Extension has partnered with the Watershed Alliance of York, the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association, and Alecraft Brewery for this event.

This event is being offered at no charge to participants.

Space is limited. Registering before the event is encouraged and appreciated!
