About The In-Person Workshop

Join Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward volunteers for an engaging evening at Collusion Tapworks for "Tap Talks: The Hows and Whys of Managing Natural Lands," presented in partnership with the Watershed Alliance of York and the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association. Eric Roper of the Lancaster Conservancy will explore how the organization approaches land management across its preserves, from broad eco-restoration strategies to detailed project examples, including forest management at High Family Nature Preserve, property-scale restoration at Wizard Ranch, and meadow restoration efforts at Safe Harbor and Kelly’s Run. Learn how threats to meadows and woodlands are managed while enjoying locally brewed beverages, good food, and environmental trivia, with prizes and swag included.

This session is part of Tap Talks—a fun  and informative series that highlights water quality and  watershed-related topics through dynamic presentations by local water  resource professionals and Penn State Extension Master Watershed  Stewards. Tap Talks are held at various venues across Pennsylvania and  typically run for about an hour, though exact timing may vary.

This event is being offered at no charge to participants.

Space is limited. Registering before the event is encouraged and appreciated!
