About The In-Person Workshop

Travis Pantaleo will lead an engaging exploration of the Delaware River system’s diverse fisheries, from the upper reaches where branching waters converge and alewives influence trout populations, through the transition zone where coldwater tributaries meet warmwater species. The journey continues into the estuary, highlighting striped bass, American shad, and the interconnected migrations of eels and sturgeon, before examining the northern snakehead as both an invasive threat and a signal of ecosystem vulnerability. The program concludes with a closer look at the minnows of the Cooks Creek Watershed, a small trout stream that reflects the complexity and resilience of the entire Delaware River system.

This event is being offered at no charge to participants.
