Processing sweet corn is insurable in 12 counties in Pennsylvania; it may be insurable in other counties by written agreement if specific criteria are met. Processing sweet corn is insurable if it is grown under, and in accordance with, a processor contract, is executed by the acreage reporting date, and is not excluded from the contract at any time during the year. Processing sweet corn is not Insurable if it is interplanted with another crop or if it is planted into an established grass or legume.
