At all sites, we managed pests following recommendations in the Mid-Atlantic Commercial Vegetable Recommendations guide. All sites had silt loam soils. We harvested ears when all plants in a plot reached maturity. Ears were categorized as marketable or unmarketable, counted, and weighed.
