Student Summer Employment in PA Vineyards and Wineries

Pennsylvania vineyard and winery owners are invited to connect with Penn State undergraduate students who are enrolled in a viticulture course offered on Penn State's University Park campus. Some students are seeking hands‑on summer employment and are eager to gain practical experience in commercial vineyard and winery settings, supporting day‑to‑day operations while building industry‑ready skills. Stakeholders interested in potentially employing a student this summer should email Cain Hickey (Assistant Teaching Professor of Viticulture, class instructor) at viticulture@psu.edu to express interest. Notifications should include the business name, location, expected daily tasks, and any other relevant details that help students understand the position's expectations. These opportunities will be shared with students enrolled in the course. Employers are also encouraged to post their summer job openings on the Pennsylvania Winery Association's online marketplace and notify Cain once the position is listed.
