Stephen Campbell Joins Crops Team in Butler County

Stephen Campbell has joined Penn State Extension as a Field and Forage Crops Educator based out of the Butler County office and is covering the area of Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, and Indiana Counties.

Stephen grew up in Indiana County and currently lives on their family's farm of Polled Dorset sheep and crops. Stephen graduated from Penn State in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Science and minors in Animal Science and Sociology. Stephen then went on to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, to complete his MS in Horticulture/Turfgrass Science with an emphasis in Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication.

Stephen’s specialty areas will include Forages and Soil Health. Stephen is committed to promoting the Agricultural industry in Western Pennsylvania and is enthusiastic about representing a local name and face in the region.
