Start Native Plants from Seed
Join Christopher Sohnly of Spruce Hollow Designs and Environmental Metrics Unlimited (EMU) to learn more about the landscape value of native plants, their ecological function, and how to propagate numerous species from seed. All attendees will have the opportunity to plant a flat of native plants from a selection of prepared seeds and take these home to nurture into seedlings. Attendees will also learn about EMU and other resources for selecting and using native plants, along with an overview of the many reasons to use plant natives in your garden. This is a free class, however, there is a suggested donation of $15-$25 to EMU to help cover cost of materials.
