10:45 am Eat your Roses, Pansies, Lavender, and 29 Other Delicious Flowers Our speaker, Denise, is also known as “Mrs. Know It All” of The Organic Gardeners on KDKA radio. Her talk consists of many of the edible flowers that we can grow here, how to grow them, the rules for edible flowers and the ones that aren't so edible, too.

02:00 pm Perennials in the Garden, Three Seasons of Color Join Bill, a Penn State Master Gardener of Allegheny County, for his PowerPoint presentation that will look closely at one perennial garden and how it changes throughout the growing season. Plants to add to your garden will be recommended, and the care/maintenance of the perennial border will be discussed.
