About the In-Person Workshop
The Master Gardeners of Beaver County invite gardeners of all experience levels to the annual Smart Gardening Workshop, centered on the theme "Improvements for Ecological Impact." This engaging program features four diverse sessions that explore practical strategies for managing water in home landscapes, supporting wildlife through habitat-friendly gardening, restoring native plants within modern settings, and strengthening pollinator conservation through informed plant selection.Â
Attendees may take home complimentary tree saplings provided by Reforest Our Future, a local reforestation nonprofit, and bid on thoughtfully curated baskets and garden items during the silent auction; cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted.Â
Registration includes a continental breakfast with fruit, pastries, bagels, coffee, and tea, as well as a buffet lunch featuring a choice of ham or turkey sandwich or wrap, vegetarian salads, and dessert.
