Overview
Description
Both 2-cycle and 4-cycle engine operations will be discussed. The theory of operation and application of maintenance will be explored. Participants will learn the major systems that are part of the small gasoline engine, and the tools that are required for successful maintenance and repair of the engines. No prior experience with engine maintenance or repair is needed. Hands-on experiences will be provided to participants related to maintenance, as well as engine disassembly/reassembly. Participants should dress for work in a shop setting; oil, dust, grease will be present.
