Tour both the Food Forest Orchard (a permaculture garden) and the Pollinator Demonstration Garden. Both of these are located behind the Horticulture Center in Fairmount Park.

In these gardens we will observe different short perennials and learn about what you can plant for your own gardens. Short perennials are useful as edging, trim, or groundcovers. Learn about several plants that are evergreen or almost evergreen throughout the winter and can provide excellent 4-season interest.
