A native of Northern York County, Samantha, who now resides in Cumberland County, is a proud Penn State graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences and two minors: Agronomy and Environmental Inquiry. After graduation, Samantha went to work for Schreiber Foods, one of the world’s largest dairy manufacturers in Richland Center, Wisconsin. She managed 9 different production lines producing various types of Yogurt. After a few years of living and working in Wisconsin she knew that she wanted to get back to South Central Pennsylvania. This lead Samantha to Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, an organization based on a grass roots structure whereby county Farm Bureaus and their leaders develop and implement policy along with providing support, information, and services to their members. As the Director of Training in the Member Services Division, Samantha developed and implemented trainings for new staff and current staff members. She serviced clients throughout the Agricultural Sector, for whom she was responsible for providing professional services to meet their financial and business needs. Samantha is an active Extension volunteer in Adams County where she has worked closely with 4-H program. She is the leader of the Teen leadership club and has assisted with the 4-H livestock sale, auction and has held a position on the 4-H Advisory and Development Board. Samantha enjoys traveling and hiking with her yellow lab.
