Resources for Market Fresh with Extension
Have you ever purchased a fruit or vegetable and didn't know what to do with it? Does your plate lack color or a variety of vegetables at meal times? Do you need new recipe ideas? Or would you like to learn easy kitchen hacks so you can cook more? This program, called Market Fresh with Extension, is intended to improve the health and wellness of community members. Penn State Extension educators are passionate about teaching basic cooking skills, including how to use produce items to help support the implementation of healthy eating. By partnering with various farmers markets, our goal is to increase our presence in the community and establish new partnerships. These efforts can help raise awareness of the vast services and resources offered by Penn State Extension.
