Reminder to Renew Commercial Pesticide Applicator License

If you are a commercial pesticide applicator, this is a reminder to renew your license by September 30. The annual fee of $40 must be paid to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) if you have earned all of your required recertification credits. You have two options to pay the annual fee: mailing in your payment or paying online.

Option 1 - Postal Mail

Mail your cash or check payable to "Commonwealth of PA" to:

Option 2 - Online

1. Go to paplants.pa.gov.
2. Log in to your Applicator License Account with your username and password.
3. Click Online Shopping Cart.
4. Select the licenses you want to renew and click Add Selected Item to Cart. 
5. Click the Verification Needed button to verify the details for the license 
6. On the Verification Page, double-check to make sure everything is correct. If changes need to be made, do so. Click Accept and Continue to proceed. 
7. Click Proceed to Checkout. 
8. Verify your checkout information and click Submit Order. 
9. You will be prompted to fill out your credit card information to pay for the license order.
10. Once payment is made, you will receive a confirmation email, and your license on your PaPlants page will update. Your certification card will be sent to the mailing address on file with the PDA.
