Reminder to Renew Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
If you are a commercial pesticide applicator, this is a reminder to renew your license by September 30. The annual fee of $40 must be paid to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) if you have earned all of your required recertification credits. You have two options to pay the annual fee: mailing in your payment or paying online.
Option 1 - Postal Mail
Mail your cash or check payable to "Commonwealth of PA" to: Â

Option 2 - Online
- Go to paplants.pa.gov.
- Log in to your Applicator License Account with your username and password.
- Click Online Shopping Cart.
- Select the licenses you want to renew and click Add Selected Item to Cart.Â
- Click the Verification Needed button to verify the details for the licenseÂ
- On the Verification Page, double-check to make sure everything is correct. If changes need to be made, do so. Click Accept and Continue to proceed.Â
- Click Proceed to Checkout.Â
- Verify your checkout information and click Submit Order.Â
- You will be prompted to fill out your credit card information to pay for the license order.
- Once payment is made, you will receive a confirmation email, and your license on your PaPlants page will update. Your certification card will be sent to the mailing address on file with the PDA.Â
