In the workshops, participants learn about water conservation and the benefits of using rain barrels. Rain barrels collect and store water runoff during storms. The collected water can then be used in the garden when it is needed most, for example, during the hot summer months.

Participants in the workshop are each given a rain barrel to take home with them.
