Deborah (Deb) is the Executive Director of Pentz Run Youth Services, Inc., a role she has embraced for nearly nine years, following a dedicated career path within the agency that began in 1995. Under their leadership, the organization recently achieved Specialized Setting Certification for both Children Who Are or Who Are at Risk of Being Victims of Sex Trafficking and for Older Youth Transitioning to Adulthood.  She has been instrumental in guiding the agency through the process of becoming Trauma-Informed, ensuring that staff are equipped to provide sensitive and effective care.

Due to her commitment to meeting the changing needs of youth and her determination to meet some of these needs, Pentz Run has significantly expanded its capacity, growing from a 15-bed group and shelter facility to 31 beds, which now includes both group/shelter services and Transitional Living. Additionally, she and her team have successfully established Independent Living contracts with three surrounding counties, enhancing support for youth in need. Her commitment to serving adolescents drives her passion for ensuring the agency's continued growth and success in its mission to support vulnerable youth.

Additionally, Deb is a Certified Medication Administration Trainer through the Medication Administration Training Program of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. Recently, she expanded services by contracting to train staff from other agencies, sharing expertise in medication administration practices.

With a deep commitment to youth services and a wealth of experience in program development and staff training, Deb continues to advocate for and implement best practices in the field.
