Doren currently serves as a Program Manager with the Office of Technology Investment for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). In collaboration with executive leadership, he maintains and supports programmatic relationships for the Ben Franklin Technology Partners, PA Life Science Greenhouse Initiative as well as the technology startup community. Prior to this, Doren worked with the DCED's Strategic Information Services, where he developed data solutions to support economic development strategies. Doren has also worked for the DCED's office of Community Development & Housing as a Fiscal Analyst.
Doren's earlier experiences include roles as an Account Manager at CDW, where he drove a $200K+ increase in business in three months; an Operations Manager with Fulton Financial Corp.; and a Facility Manager with SP Plus Corp. in Richmond Virginia., where he managed a $2MM+ annual budget, while optimizing operations to strengthen revenue retention.
Doren holds a MBA in Management from the Penn State University, where he focused on strategic management and business economics, graduating in 2017. Doren also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2009 and a management certificate in Data Analytics from the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in 2023.
Beyond work, Doren finds joy in electronic music production, following technology trends, and dreams of one-day owning his own business.
