Andrea (Carnicella) Verobish is the Field Representative and Economic Development Specialist for Congressman Glenn "GT" Thompson. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Master of Public Administration degree, both from Gannon University in Erie, PA. She completed a year of service as an AmeriCorps member immediately after graduating from college at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Over the past ten years, she has worked in local, state, and federal government, including working as Main Street Manager for Hollidaysburg, PA, and as a legislative aide for former State Senator John H. Eichelberger, Jr. Andrea has a passion for serving others and advocating for local constituents. She is a 2020 graduate of the Ann B. Anstine Excellence in Public Service program. Andrea serves as Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance Board of Directors.
Andrea lives in Duncansville, PA, with her husband, Don, and their two young daughters. She is a former president and active member of the GFWC Hollidaysburg Area Women's Club. Andrea volunteers regularly at her daughter's school and is an active member of her church.
