Workshop Topics
The goal of the training is to provide a refresher to Act 38 planners and reviewers, and Act 49 brokers, who develop and review Act 38 NBSs. This class is for those who feel a bit out of touch when working with plans and planning tools. More seasoned planners, reviewers, and brokers may attend with hopes of picking up some good tips that will make their plan-related processes more efficient.
Prerequisites
A computer is needed for class. You can bring your own laptop for the class. Power outlets are available for each computer.
If you don’t have access to a computer, one can be provided for use during the workshop. If you plan to use a class computer, you may want to bring a flash drive so that you can take the completed workshop exercises home with you.
Please notify Mike Aucoin during registration and indicate if you need a computer to use for the workshop.
Public specialists receive priority registration, and commercial specialists may be placed on a 'waiting list.'
Continuing Education Credits (CECs)
This class will provide 3.0 Act 38 SCC Sponsored CECs and 3.0 Act 49 NBS Specific CECs.
Registration
Registration is required for all Pennsylvania Nutrient Management Specialist Certification trainings. The class size is limited to 20 attendees. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Registration closes one week prior to the training date.
