Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Chester County provides speakers on a variety of subjects.
Master Gardeners give talks at libraries, garden clubs, schools, and civic organizations on topics such as container gardening, butterfly gardens, composting, native plants, seed starting, growing vegetables, herb gardens, etc. Speakers may use slide shows, PowerPoint presentations, demonstrations, or hands-on activities. Day, evening, and weekend programs may be available, depending upon speaker availability.
Organizations should request a speaker 3 months in advance and provide an audience of 15+. There is no fee, but a donation is requested ($75-100 is customary). Checks should be made payable to Chester County Cooperative Extension.
