Hours: Daily from dawn to dusk, year-round.

Established: 2014 by the Doylestown Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC). The Master Gardeners started working with EAC in 2020 to make the garden a joint project.

Type of garden: Native Plants

Volunteers maintaining the garden: Five to ten volunteers including Master Gardeners, members of the Environmental Advisory Council, and local residents.

Description of the garden: The garden features over 50 species of native plants, trees, and shrubs with varying bloom times that extend from March through October. With both sunny and woodland areas, there is something to admire in almost every season.

For many visitors, the garden is an inspiration, as most of the plants are suitable for the home landscape and, notably, are deer-resistant.

Midsummer is an especially colorful time, with abundant flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Garden benches and a bird blind provide opportunities to quietly take in all that nature has to offer.
