Training begins the first week in October and continues through March. Classes meet virtually, weekly on Thursdays at 6 pm, except during holidays. There are also monthly in-person classes throughout the training, which will require attendance to learn about our program and projects.
Once the application period has ended, you will be notified about information sessions and scheduled for an interview during the summer. Unfortunately, due to the large number of applications we typically receive, we cannot accept every applicant into the training program.
If you wonder if the training will meet your needs, you can find copies of the training manual through Carnegie and other local libraries in the area.
