Healthy Lunch Tips

June 11, 2024

As a child care provider, you play a major role in the health and development of the children in your care. One essential need of young children is adequate food and proper nutrition. If you participate in the Child and Adult Care Feeding Program (CACFP), you already know that a specific meal pattern is required for reimbursement. Strengthen Your Well-being Through Mindful and Caring Self-practice

May 13, 2024

Early childhood education (ECE) professionals need to take care of themselves to support and care for children. Mindfulness is a path that can help educators recognize patterns of thought or behavior that may negatively affect caring for oneself. When young children develop and build these skills, it positively impacts their interactions with others, grows their capacity to manage challenges, and boosts a sense of competence.

Learning and Community "Beyond the Table"
