4-H Horse Program

The Pennsylvania 4-H Horse Program promotes knowledge of horsemanship and responsible, ethical equine use, care, and management.

Youth who participate in 4-H horse programs develop life skills that include leadership, responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork, community service, a positive attitude, and a sense of self worth.

2018 Pennsylvania State 4-H Junior Horse Championship Show

The 5th annual Pennsylvania State 4-H Junior Horse Championship Show was held July 28-29, 2018 at the Centre County Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. More than 140 4-H members from across Pennsylvania exhibited horses in performance and in hand classes, totaling over 450 entries for the weekend.

2017 Pennsylvania State 4-H Horse Show

The 58th annual Pennsylvania State 4-H Horse Show was held October 27-29 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. More than 700 youth from over 55 counties participated in 73 performance classes throughout the weekend. There were over 1600 entries shown by youth who qualified for the show.
