4-H Camps

4-H camps are about making friends, enjoying new experiences, and participating in fun activities.

Swimming, water sports, archery, games, arts and crafts, campfire and other activities are offered in a safe, supervised environment.

Camping provides opportunities for young people to explore their interests, learn cooperation and teamwork and develop life skills. Pennsylvania 4-H offers residential (sleepover) camps, day camps and special interest camps. 4-H camps are conducted by county 4-H programs or by cooperating groups of counties.

Northwest Pennsylvania 4-H Camp

Take a journey around the world at 4-H Camp.  We will work towards discovering the wonders of the world. Campers will explore the camp facilities, the wilderness around us, and much more!  Workshops will offer a variety through science and environment activities, crafts, teambuilding, and foods.  Our evening activities will include obstacle courses, counselor hunts, skits, and much more! For 4-H Youth Completing Grades 2 thru 9. There will be two tracks at 4-H Camp, with age-appropriate activities for each, and at times the two tracks will be together for programs and meals. Junior- 4-H members completing grades 2-5 (ages 7-11) Intermediate- 4-H member, age 11 to 14 years old, and will complete grades 6-9.

Southwest 4-H Camp

Camp Dates: Sunday, June 25, 2076 - Wednesday, June 28, 2017

A three night, four day camp for youth ages 7 to 12 4-H age as of January 1, 2017, camp program includes an educational theme, campfire, recreation, etc. Theme is “Buggin Out With 4-H”, campers will learn about insects and their importance in our lives!  Campers stay in cabins at the Laureveille Center in Mt. Pleasant.

4-H Camp Manatawny

Held at Camp Manatawny in Douglasville, PA. 4-H Camp Manatawny offers unique program opportunities for youth 8 – 13 to develop responsibility, social skills, environmental awareness, teamwork all while having fun. Camp Manatawny offers opportunities for participation in the following activities;  group recreation, nature and craft workshops, team building and socialization activity groups.  Some activities will be geared for juniors (8 to 10) and some for seniors (11-13) to make it more rewarding for the camper.  For more details call the Berks 4-H office at 610-378-1327.

4-H Camp Kanesatake

Join us for a fun-filled week in the woods of Central PA, near Spruce Creek.  During your 4-day stay, you will reside in cabins with campers, ages 8-14, and enjoy Camp Kanesatake facilities.

Northwinds 4-H Camp

Northwinds 4-H camp will be held at Denton Hill State Park just outside of Coudersport, PA in Potter County. Activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, environmental education, crafts, and sports. The camp is open to all children ages 8-13 that live in Cameron, Elk, Jefferson, McKean and Potter counties. There is a one-day  day camp offering for youth ages 6-9 on Thursday.

4-H Jedi Camp Brulé

A five day overnight camp for 4-Hers, 8-18 years of age. Campers sleep outdoors in tents around Elk Lake, and participate in workshops, afternoon recreation, evening programs, and campfire.  4-H Cloverbud Camp, open to 4-Hers ages 5-7. One Day Only, Saturday, June 24th.  Camp Brule is located in Forksville, PA.

4-H Camp Brulé - Central Susquehanna Counties

CSC 4-H Camp Brulé program is a structured, educational 4-H event.  Your son/daughter will be supervised by qualified staff and trained counselors.  The five-day program is planned to keep the campers busy with activities centered around natural resources, swimming, recreation, handicrafts, health and fitness, outdoor adventure skills, and leadership.  Each evening, everyone gathers at a campfire to sing and share daily group accomplishments.  The swimming hours will be strictly regulated.  No one is allowed in the water except at the stated times, and then, under the supervision of qualified waterfront personnel.  We hope to send the boys and girls back home happier and better 4-H’ers, because they have had the opportunity to attend this camp located in Forksville, PA.

4-H Camp Eder

4-H Camp Seven Mountains Scout Camp

Short Description of Camp - week long resident camp experience for 4-H members ages 9 -18. Camp Counselors have selected this year’s camp theme as “The Olympics”. We will be camping at a new location – The Seven Mountains Boy Scout Camp


4-H Camp Shehaqua

4-H Camp Shehaqua is located in Hickory Run State Park,  White Haven, Pa. which is in the Pocono region of Eastern Pennsylvania. Each session is a five day resident camp organized and supervised by a team of staff consisting of professional Penn State Extension Educators from those counties, screened 4-H Volunteer Adults and screened and trained 4-H Teens who serve as counselors. A registered nurse and certified lifeguard are on the premises 24/7. Camp activities include a ropes course, shooting sports, swimming, nature workshops, arts and crafts, hiking, recreation, social activities, camp fires and specialized activities which vary week to week utilizing the talents and expertise of the staff and volunteers involved.
