Congratulations to Lancaster County 4-H Educator Lori Little!
Little was recently named the recipient of the American Youth Horse Council's Horse Industry Professional of the Year Legacy Award.
The Horse Industry Professional of the Year award is an annual accolade designed to honor exceptional individuals dedicated to the education of youth in the horse industry. Esteemed nominees for this prestigious distinction are professionals actively engaged in roles that support the youth horse industry, either through employment or self-employment. These individuals demonstrate exemplary skills as educators, coaches, or mentors to young horse enthusiasts, actively promoting the youth horse industry at local, state, or national levels.
This honor reflects Little's decades of exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication to youth in the horse industry. She has spent twenty-eight years building a strong and impactful 4 H horse program. Her work extends far beyond county lines, she is a trusted statewide resource, a curriculum author, a mentor to educators, and a driving force behind high quality equine learning experiences. Little's creativity, expertise, and passion have shaped countless programs, from Cloverbud curriculum to statewide lesson plans, volunteer trainings, and innovative hands on equine education. Her impact on Pennsylvania's 4 H horse community is immeasurable.
