Council members addressed Pennsylvania Farm Bureau members

Andrea Repetz – Cumberland County, President

President Andrea Repetz has had an exciting month.
She presented the president and vice president workshops at the Cumberland County Officer training on November 5. For promotional events, she attended the Annual Farm Bureau Meeting on November 12 to help with opening ceremonies and pledges. A personal accomplishment made by Andrea includes maintaining good grades while also being able to represent State Council at county events. Contacts made this month consist of the 2018-2019 Dairy Promotion team, Pennsylvania Dairy Princess - Brooke Emery, PA alternate Dairy Princesses - Kara Stultz and Samantha Haag, and Kathy Barry - Kathy Barry Agency, Nationwide Insurance.

Julia Jumper - Westmoreland County, Vice President of Operations and Events

This past month Vice President of Operations and Events, Julia Jumper was able to represent State Council in numerous ways. She was able to give one speech this month at the Annual Farm Bureau Meeting November 12-15 as well as assist with microphones while there. For promotional events Julia was able to attend the State 4-H Horse Show October 26-28 and the Snyder County Achievement Night November 9, as well as promoting Giving Tuesday by sending out emails to educators in her area. Julia’s personal accomplishments include maintaining good grades as well as overall SLC planning being successful. Contacts made this month include Farm Bureau Members, Penn State Extension Staff, and Pennsylvania Dairy Princesses and county Dairy Princesses.

Kayla Kimble - Clinton County, Vice President of Internal Affairs and Sentinel

Kayla Kimble has had a great month. For promotional events, Kayla gave one presentation at the Centre County Ag Forum and one speech at the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Opening Dinner. For promotional events, she attended the PA Farm Bureau Annual Meeting and the Centre County Achievement Night. Two hours of community service were completed by gathering and sorting through used clothing for a clothing drive. One of Kayla’s personal accomplishments this month was winning two of her classes at the State 4-H Horse Show. Several contacts made by Kayla include Joel Rotz - PA Farm Bureau Director of Government Affairs and Communications, David Snook - PA Farm Bureau State Board Member, David Bentrem - PA Farm Bureau Young Farmer & Rancher Committee State Board Member, David Nogan - PA Farm Bureau YF&R State Committee member, Courtney Meyer - PA Farm Bureau YF&R State Committee member, Stacey Hann - PA Farm Bureau YF&R State Committee member, Allison Beichner - PA Farm Bureau YF&R State Committee member, and Tyler Funk - PA Farm Bureau YF&R State Committee member.

Caroline Benfer - Union County, Secretary

Secretary Caroline Benfer was able to accomplish many things this past month. For promotional events, Caroline was able to spend time at the Snyder County Achievement Night and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Annual Meeting. Seven hours of community service were completed by volunteering for “Wood for Good” at Juniata College. A personal accomplishment this month includes finalizing a research project. Several contacts were made including Kathy Weller, Katina Hunter, Matthew Ulrich - Union County Farm Bureau President, and the 2018-2019 FFA State Officer team.

Annah Burke - Forest County, Reporter-Historian

Annah Burke has done many things this past month. For speeches, she was able to give invocation at the Snyder County Achievement Night. For promotional events, Annah attend the State 4-H Horse Show October 26-28, Snyder County Achievement Night November 9, and send out emails to educators on behalf of Pennsylvania 4-H’s Giving Tuesday Campaign. She helped pass out ribbons at the State Horse Show. A few of Annah’s personal accomplishments include celebrating her 19th birthday and attending her first horse show. Several contacts made this month consist of Andrea Kocher, Kathy Weller, Andrea Rice, Katina Hunter, and Snyder County Teen Council Members.
