Each year, Pennsylvania 4-H, administered by Penn State Extension, nominates two outstanding individual volunteers as part of its 4-H Salute to Excellence Awards. This year, Denise Ancharski-Stutler, of Bucks County, was selected for the Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award, and Peter Nebzyodski, of Northampton County, received the Volunteer of the Year Award.

The event hosted 260 youth, ages 10-18, who showcased their skills in various animal judging events. These included dairy, horse, and livestock, which featured swine, sheep, and beef cattle.
