Available Trees and Descriptions:
Apple Varieties
- Fuji— Pink speckled apple. Crisp and juicy with dull white flesh.
- Gala (Simmons Cltv.) - Darkest Gala, strong and early color development
- Ginger Gold (Mountain Cove Cltv) - Earlier ripening type of Golden-delicious, fall variety.
- Golden Delicious (Gibson Cltv) - Russet-resistant. Firm fruit. Fruit-thinning required.
- Honeycrisp—Crisp juicy apple with a sweet-tart taste. Popular pie apple.
- Idared- A dual purpose apple, suitable for both fresh and process markets.
- Pink Lady—pink blush, medium to large size, crisp sweet tart
- Pioneer Mac (Greiner Cltv) - Fruit quality, flavor and size excellent. Macintosh stain.
Pear Varieties
- Bartlett– A large, heavy-bearing variety with excellent quality. Top canning variety.
- Bell—Ranked highest in flavor intensity, flavor balance, and juiciness. Resistance to fire blight.
- Niitaka—Ripens in late August. Mildly flavored, sweet and juicy. Requires thinning.
- Seckel –A small pear with yellowish-brown skin. Great dessert pear.
- Shinko—Medium to large, very sweet and juicy. Stores for 3 months. Blight resistance.
Peach Varieties
- Glohaven –Large, firm fruit. Hardy against spring frosts.
- Loring– One of the best canning and freezing varieties. Resistant to bacterial spot.
- Raritan Rose—White flesh, very firm, excellent eating qualities.
- White Lady - White fleshed peach, firm with excellent dessert qualities.
Nectarine Varieties
- Avalon—Red skin, yellow flesh, sweet flavor.
- Silver Glo—Large, early season fruit. Red skin, firm flesh, resistant to bacterial spot.
Apricot
- Goldrich –Large oval fruit, bright and shiny orange. Hardy and productive.
- Harogem– Flesh is orange, firm and freestone. Productive and cold hardy.
Cherry Varieties
- Benton– Dark red, sweet cheer. Self-fertile variety. More resistant to rain cracking than others.
- Hedelfingen - Large, late season, high-quality dark red sweet cherry. Good flavor.
- Montmorency - Vigorous, productive, and largely problem –free tree. Self-fertile.
- Stardust-Mild, late-season variety. White flesh. Self-fertile.
- Summit - A heart shaped fruit with a deep red-black skin. Self-fertile.
