Northampton County 4-H Horse Show

Northampton County 4-H Horse Round Up was held on Sunday August 3 at Tavola Farm in Northampton. This show is a qualifying event where members and their horses can possibly qualify to show at the next level, which is the southeast regional horse show (District 1). 31 members competed with 33 horses. It was a full and fun day with beautiful weather!

Members competed in Open (including Grooming and Showmanship, and Trail), Hunt Seat, Western, Ranch, Contest, Beginner, and Miniature divisions.

There is a lot of preparation and dedication that goes into preparing for this show and the members really put in a solid effort to make sure that their horses were ready!

There are 24 members moving onto the next level - the regional horse show that will be held at the Montgomery County 4-H Center on August 23.  They are: Landin B., Jackie B., Riley B., Aubrey C., Cashin C., Dominick D., Julia D., Sage D., Dorothy E., Lilah G., Gabriella H., Olivia H., Hazel H., Abigail K., Abigail L., Alice M., Olivia M., Rylan R., Erin O., Summer P., Londyn P. (with her horse and mini), Riley T., Vivienne T., and Evangelina U. Congratulations to all!

If the members qualify at the regional level, the next step could be the Pennsylvania State 4-H Horse Show, which will be held on October 23-26 at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.
