Mercer County Clubs

Mercer County 4-H offers a unique program to educate the youth of the surrounding area. We have a 4-H park in Mercer County where all youth can meet and show their projects. Every year we have a 4-H roundup at the Mercer County 4-H Park where all the youth and families get together to showcase their projects and to learn and meet members from across the county. We provide the best hands-on experience in the county with agricultural education.

Clubs

• Baby Beef & Lamb - Livestock club: beef, sheep, goats, swine, rabbits & poultry projects, club officer projects, foods & nutrition, healthy living, and expressive arts projects. 
• Bunny Patrol & Feathered Friends - Rabbit and poultry club that also offers goat, companion animal, and plant science projects.
• Cloverbuds - A club for youth ages 5-7 where they can learn about the 4-H program and explore project areas that may be of interest as a 4-H club member.
• Gone Country - Projects in the following areas: club officers, pets, veterinary science, camping, civic engagement, environmental science, foods & nutrition, leadership & personal development, expressive arts, healthy living, and STEM.
• Hams - Livestock club that focuses on swine, sheep, goats, beef, rabbits, and poultry projects.
• Hayburners - Dairy cattle club that focuses on dairy cattle care and production with hands-on learning.
• Jamestown Explorer's 4-H Club - After-school life skills/family living project club (pets, environmental science, expressive arts) with an optional monthly meeting for livestock (swine, goats, rabbits, poultry) projects.
• No-Bull 4-H Dairy Club - Dairy cattle club that focuses on dairy cattle care and production practices.
• Ropes and Reins 4-H Club - Horse and pony club.
• Teen Council - Teen Council plans and coordinates county-level activities for the Mercer County 4-H program and members and promotes the 4-H program in the community.
• The Jolly Ranchers 4-H Club - Projects offered: club officers, pets, poultry, rabbits, civic engagement, environmental science, foods & nutrition, expressive arts, healthy living, leadership & personal development, and STEM.
• The Otter Creek Livestock Club - Livestock club offering beef, sheep, goat, swine, rabbit, poultry, and club officer projects.

Start a new club

4-H is all about exploration! If you do not see a project or a club that looks like the right fit, you can start a new club.

4-H Clubs require:

• At least 5 youth (from at least two families)
• An adult club leader as a point of contact with the 4-H Educator
• A minimum of 2 screened adult volunteers
• Hold regular educational meetings
