Positive Youth Development
Mercer County 4-H is proud to be part of the nation’s largest positive youth development program, which focuses on empowering youth to develop critical life skills through hands-on activities and experiences. With assistance from caring adult volunteers, youth find the "sparks" that help them build real-world skills to become resilient, adaptable, lifelong learners, all while having fun! The 4-H program is recognized for its significant impact on social and emotional growth, behavioral and cognitive development, and the overall well-being of youth.
