Thirty-six 4-H members from Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster and Lebanon counties were judged on the appearance, fit, design, sewing construction skills, and modeling presentation skills learned as part of their 4-H Clothing and Textiles 4-H projects. Additionally, nine 4-H members showcased skills in quilting, knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, weaving and spinning with non-wearable textile items created for the 4-H Textile Revue.

4-H Fashion Revue provides an opportunity for 4-H members to complete a clothing and textile project and experience modeling their completed garments in a formal fashion show. Youth construct garments from simple shorts to complex formal wear.

The following gold ribbon winners were selected in the Senior Division for youth 13 -18 years old for Lancaster County: Lydia Fetterman, Morgan Melton and Laura Sensenig.

Also, participating at the event were Junior youth, ages eight to twelve years of age, who had the opportunity to be reviewed by judges, while gaining self-confidence and practicing their modeling skills. The following junior members were selected as gold ribbon winners: Sydney Brubaker, Taylor Flahart, Victoria Greenawalt and Faith Musser. Blue Honorable Mention ribbon was awarded to Jaclyn Martin.

The 4-H Textile Revue is for 4-H youth who create non-wearable items in Clothing and Textiles projects. 4-H youth, ages (8-18) who learned textiles skills such as quilting, crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, weaving, spinning and home décor presented their non-wearable items at the regional contest. Each member created a display that explained at least one aspect of their creative process such as their inspiration or, how to complete a challenging new skill. A panel of judges interviewed the youth to learn more about the item and the youth’s depth of knowledge.
