4-H Pig Club

In this club youth learn about raising 4-H market hogs and this type of agriculture.

The Pennsylvania 4-H Swine Program is open to all youth - with or without farm backgrounds. Members learn about the swine industry through events, shows and hands-on projects. The 4-H Pig Club provides youth ages 8-18 as of January 1 of the current year the opportunity to learn and raise market hogs that are shown and sold at the annual 4-H Pig Roundup in August.4-H Pig Club meets every 3rd Monday of months March-September at the Penn State Extension Office.
