4-H Pony Partners

4-H Pony Partners is an equine facilitated learning program that provides students with introductory knowledge of horses while also developing life skills in communication, leadership, confidence, and self-esteem.

4-H Pony Partners offers an open enrollment/ short term day camp each summer. Please look for the program as part of the Chester County 4-H Summer Specials.

From September to November and February to June, Pony Partners offers programming in after-school program settings, at community centers, or for organized clubs such as but not limited to Girl Scouts.

Please contact Amy O’Grady at ogradyag@gmail.com for further questions regarding enrollment.

4-H Pony Partners is not a riding class. Through this approach, the horses are instruments that enable youth to open up and verbalize problems, fears, excitement, and successes.

4-H Pony Partners is mobile! Our miniature horses and ponies can travel to site locations including schools, community centers, and mobile home parks to youth who may not normally have the opportunity to participate in a traditional 4-H club. Contact us to request a visit!
