Summer Programs

Explore 4-H through a variety of summer 4-H programs! These short-term programs expose youth ages 5-18 to a variety of project areas.

Camp Harmony

In June of each year, 4-Hers from Centre County and 13 other counties gather at Camp Harmony in Hooversville, PA in Somerset County. Camp is designed for 4-H youth who are 8 years and older as of January 1 of the current year. At 4-H Camp Harmony, you will enjoy new experiences in the great outdoors. Ever want to try your hand at a climbing wall? Now’s your chance! Want to learn some new games? We’ve got games! Come to camp to try new things and learn life skills as you have fun. Camp Harmony’s facilities include wooden cabins with bunks for campers, a modern bathhouse, a swimming pool, and acres of natural surroundings for a great camping experience. Registration includes meals, lodging, and program materials for a fun camp experience. Campers receive a 4-H Camp T-Shirt upon arrival at Camp Harmony!

Grange Fair

4-Hers ages 5-18 have the opportunity to exhibit their projects at the Grange Fair in August of each year. Members must meet both Centre County 4-H and Grange Fair eligibility requirements. Please refer to the Grange Fair website for specific questions about the fair.
