Interested in becoming certified to blood-test birds? A Certified Poultry Technician Course is being offered in Rock Springs, PA on April 10, 2018. The office will cover the cost of anyone wanting to attend.

Two Centre County Residents Recognized

The 4-H State Volunteer and Development Team recently recognized two Centre County residents at the 2017 Pennsylvania 4-H Leader Forum. Anna “Mickey” Peters was recognized as the 2014 National 4-H Hall of Fame Winner and Dr. Alan Snider was recognized as the 2015 National 4-H Hall of Fame Winner.

For some time now, 4-H leadership has been reviewing the objectives, format and member participation for several of our statewide events to gain more interest and increase attendance. To review and assess the many factors that come into play to meet the interest of our 4-H members, while providing them with a positive youth development experience, we have decided to cancel this year’s 4-H State Achievement Days.
