Day Camps

Explore 4-H through county day camps! These short-term programs expose youth to a variety of project areas. Our 4-H STEM Camp is held annually at Sizerville State Park, and is appropriate for kids in 1st through 6th grade. This camp covers a variety of topics, including nature studies, engineering design, wildlife and ecology, and forestry. Cameron County 4-H also offers a variety of summer programs that introduce youth to sewing, arts, crafts and cooking.

School Enrichment Programs

The Cameron County 4-H Program offers a strong school enrichment program at Woodland Elementary School, where 4-H curriculum is integrated into a classroom setting. This program is offered to teachers in Kindergarten through 5th grade, and focuses on a variety of topics including nature studies, chemistry, engineering design, experimental design, and general science. The program occurs once a month for 6 months during the school year. Teachers can contact the Cameron County Extension office to have their classrooms included in this program!
