Explore opportunities available during the 4-H project year.
Educational County Opportunities
In addition to educational programming offered at club meetings, members have the opportunity to participate in county horse and livestock clinics, demonstration night, and other county-wide programs. Teen members also have additional opportunities to join our teen leadership club, County Council and to attend regional and state leadership conferences and events.
School Enrichment Programs
Bradford County 4-H is proud to partner with our local schools to offer Embryology in the Classroom and Afterschool programming. Students are able to learn the process of chick development while hatching live chicks in their classrooms. We also enjoy offering 4-H programming and activities in the afterschool setting. For more information on getting involved with either of these opportunities please contact our office.
Contests and Exhibits
4-H members have the opportunity to enter their projects in the Troy Fair every year. Members compete in livestock and pet shows as well as exhibiting their completed project posters and displays in the 4-H building. Members who complete projects are also eligible to enter their items as exhibits in the PA State Farm Show as well as compete at state-level competitions in their project areas. Also, keep an eye out for our Cupcake Wars event in the spring and other county-level contests that may become available!
