About Us

The 4-H program teaches leadership, citizenship, and life skills. It is an informal, volunteer-led, hands-on, learning program. 4-H projects are research-based, and reviewed by specialists at Penn State University. The goal of 4-H is to help young people become self-directed, productive, and contributing members of a diverse society.

Who can join?

Youth ages 5-18 (as of January 1).

Youth 5-7 are enrolled in an introductory "Cloverbud" program with age appropriate learning activities.

How much does it cost?

A $10.00 educational materials fee is charged for books. The horse program in addition as a yearly fee of $25.00.

However, some clubs set a higher enrollment fee for operational costs.

Who helps your child?

Adult leaders must be screened and interviewed by the 4-H Educator.
