About the Live Webinar

Prepare for Pennsylvania’s private applicator licensing exam with this in-depth course. Participants will review key material from the Private Pesticide Core and Supplemental Manual through structured presentations, small group activities, and breaks. Each chapter of the core manual will be covered, providing a comprehensive understanding of pesticide safety and application. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Agronomics Inspector questions about the exam. This course is designed for individuals studying to become private applicators and those seeking to apply restricted-use pesticides on their farm or property.

Educators from Penn State Extension and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture will lead this two-day workshop.

Certification Exam Study Materials

All participants must bring their own private pesticide applicator CORE study manual and training materials to class. If you plan to use previously purchased study packets, please note that some materials may have been updated. Ensure your study materials include the latest manuals.

Scheduling Your Exam

The private pesticide applicator licensing exam will not be offered as part of this course. To find a convenient location and time to take your exam and make your reservation, go to the Pesticide Exam Search.

Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinar.

A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within ten business days after the live event. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event start.
