About the In-Person Workshop
Prepare for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's private pesticide applicator certification exam with this engaging workshop. Attendees will review and focus on key material from the Pesticide Core and Supplemental Manual, with chapters broken into manageable sections through small group activities and scheduled breaks. Designed for those seeking certification to apply restricted-use pesticides on their farm or property, this session provides the foundational knowledge needed for success. Participants must bring the Private Applicator Exam Study Packet to class.

The five-hour workshop will be led by a Penn State Educator of Agronomy.Â
Certification Exam Study Materials
All participants are responsible for bringing their own private pesticide applicator CORE study manual training materials to the class. If you are planning to use study packets that were previously purchased, please be aware that some materials may have been updated. Please be sure your study materials include the updated manuals.
