About The In-Person Workshop
Celebrate the vital role of pollinators during National Pollinator Week with the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Susquehanna County at a garden open house designed to educate and inspire. Visitors are invited to tour vibrant, pollinator-friendly garden beds, explore what is currently in bloom, and learn practical steps for creating and sustaining a thriving pollinator habitat at home. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with knowledgeable Master Gardeners, receive answers to home gardening questions, and gather valuable resources, including native plant fact sheets, pollinator garden plans, and guidance on soil testing. Participants who register in advance will also receive a complimentary native plug plant (one per household), making it easy to start supporting pollinators right away.
This is an outdoor event; please dress comfortably and be prepared for the weather. Wear appropriate footwear for walking on grass. In the event of rain, the open house will continue unless severe weather occurs.
This event is being offered at no charge to participants.
