Pests Can Cause Asthma and Allergies
  • Roaches and rodents leave droppings from feces and skin on every surface they crawl on.
  • Pollen from weeds can cause seasonal allergies and trigger asthma.
  • Sprays, powders, bombs, and weed killers can be DANGEROUS to human and pet health if used improperly, especially for children!

How do we safely eliminate pests?

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) provides safer alternatives that are long term in effectiveness! When chemicals are used in IPM, they are generally less toxic and are used as a last resort.

IPM methods are easy to use!

  • Keep living areas clean and uncluttered
  • Keep yards and vacant lots maintained (mowing and trash pickup)
  • Repair holes and cracks in walls, windows, screens…
  • Seal routes of pest entry using caulking, steel wool, or other pest-proof materials for gaps in walls, pavement and other surfaces
  • Share information with neighbors! Pests do not stay in one place!
  • Read the Label!! Find a reputable pest control specialist, ask about IPM, and use home sprays, powders, and baits very carefully!
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY, get to know your pest… each pest has different habits and different control methods
