Pesticide Sprayer Cleanup

This asynchronous, self-paced course discusses the importance of maintaining and cleaning sprayers immediately after use. Through a combination of videos and short readings, you gain a solid understanding of why, when, and where to clean your pesticide sprayers. Learn what sprayer parts to clean, cleaning steps, and about common tank cleaning agents. A focus of this course is the importance of cleaning your sprayer in a location and manner that properly disposes of the rinsate generated. After each video, you can check your learning with quick ungraded questions.
By successfully completing this course, including passing a final quiz, you can earn 1 Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) core credit, as well as a certificate of completion.
(Note: it may take 2 to 4 week for recertification credits to be reported to and verified by PDA.)
