Pennsylvania Wine and Grape Industry Conference

The Pennsylvania Wine and Grape Industry Conference is scheduled for February 25 and 26, 2026 in State College, Pennsylvania.

Grape growers, wine producers, educators, researchers, and other industry stakeholders in Pennsylvania and the east coast wine and grape industry will gather at the Nittany Lion Inn in State College on February 25 and 26, 2026, for the annual Pennsylvania Wine and Grape Industry Conference, hosted by the Pennsylvania Wine Marketing and Research Program, Pennsylvania Winery Association, and Penn State Extension. The Pennsylvania Winery Association annual meeting will be held on February 24th, before the two-day technical conference. The two-day event will provide a venue for grape/wine education and an important in-person networking opportunity for regional grape and wine industry stakeholders.

The two-day conference will feature the following educational opportunities:

  • Enology and winemaking practices, including a hands-on session on wine blending, a review of winery sanitation with PA study information, premium Riesling production with tasting, updates on Penn State enology research on spotted lanternfly, industry panels, and more!
  • Viticulture and grape production practices, including a grower panel on the 2025 vintage, vineyard nutrition research updates, spotted lanternfly research updates, water impact on pesticide performance, presentations from specialists and industry members from Pennsylvania and the surrounding region.
  • Business/marketing/operations sessions
  • Use of AI in your winery and tasting room.

Pending PDA approval, eligible participants can receive Pennsylvania Pesticide Recertification Training Credits from PDA if they attend qualifying technical sessions during the conference.
